To ensure the safety, logistics, and quality of our diving experiences, we have established the following cancellation policy. Please read these terms carefully before booking your course.

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while accounting for the high demand and limited availability of specialized diving spots in the Galapagos Islands.

Important Conditions

• No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the designated time and location for the start of your course will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and no refund will be issued.

• Medical Issues: If you are unable to participate due to a medical condition, you must provide a valid medical certificate signed by a doctor. In this case, we may offer a partial refund or allow you to reschedule based on availability, at our discretion.

• Changes to Itinerary (Force Majeure): Galapagos diving operations are subject to conditions beyond our control, including weather, sea conditions, or official instructions from the Galapagos National Park authorities.

  • If a dive is cancelled by the operator for safety reasons, we will prioritize rescheduling.
  • If rescheduling is not possible, a pro-rated refund for the specific missed service will be issued.

• Certification Requirements: It is the student’s responsibility to meet the medical and swimming requirements prior to the course. If a student is disqualified by an instructor during the course due to safety concerns or failure to meet performance requirements, no refund will be provided.

How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to [info@galapagostravellers.com]. The date the email is received will be used to calculate the applicable cancellation fees.
