THE YACHT


ASTREA is a motor yacht with a length of 25m (75ft), custom-built for diving in the Galapagos archipelago. Operating throughout the year with all required permits, our dive safaris and land cruises run for 8 days/7 nights, starting every Tuesday.


Astrea Yacht is a tourist-class liveaboard providing plenty of space for diving comfort and relaxation. With a maximum of 16 guests and a 9-person crew, you can expect a high level of personal service in both English and Spanish.






Astrea Yacht Galapagos


Almost all dives are done from a dive tender, allowing for easy access to the best sites. Nitrox is available, and the fully equipped dive deck includes a camera table and rinse tank.


After diving, guests can relax in the air-conditioned lounge with a complimentary beer, wine, or coffee, check photos on the onboard computer, or enjoy the entertainment system.

FACILITIES & CABINS


The yacht features 8 double cabins with bunk beds:



  • Upper Deck: 4 cabins (No. 1, 2, 3, 4) with windows

  • Main Deck: 1 cabin (No. 5) with window

  • Lower Deck: 3 cabins (No. 6, 7, 8) with portholes (bull eyes)


Each cabin offers: Air conditioning, private warm water shower and toilet, towels and amenities, reading lamps, closets, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, life vests, and 110V power outlets.

CATERING


Meals are typically served buffet-style (set menu by plate may occasionally apply). Our kitchen offers a wide variety of Ecuadorian and international cuisine.


A 24-hour cafeteria on the main deck provides complimentary tea, coffee, and water. Alcoholic beverages are available at an extra cost.
